Drain Degreaser and deodourising agent. Dynamic Chemical's ODASOL is a new formulation of highly active agents providing effective control of undesirable elements in waste or effluent treatment and handling. Dissolves grease and fat in drains, masks unpleasant smells and controls filter fly.
ECONOMICAL
All ingredients are active and concentrated to gain maximum dilution for each
application. Greater penetratioin of odour control properties is possible with
simultaneous grease control.
EFFECTIVE
ODASOL works in five ways simultaneously:
1. Masks unpleasant odours and immediately begins to kill odour causing bacteria.
2. Controlled solvency removes existing grease and slime deposits and prevents
further build-up.
3. Prevents the growth of fungi - a common source of odour.
4. Repels insects such as filter fly and prevents reproduction of insects.
5. Acts as a release agent against grease in pipes, channels and containers.
SAFE
Non-toxic and harmless to paint, metals and other surfaces. DOES NOT affect
aerobic or anaerobic micro-organisms.
VERSATILE
Used for sewage treatment, refuse trucks and receptacles, drains, grease traps:
oil, grease and sludge solvent; piggeries and meat packaging plants.
APPLICATIONS
SEWAGE TREATMENT - For odour and grease control ODASOL should be introduced
as the final entry point of raw effluent. Controls insects in pondage areas
and filter fly. ODASOL can assist in sludge dewatering and dispersing foam.
When ODASOL is used in pumping stations and other areas before effluent enters
works a proportional reduction in amount used at the works may be possible.
REFUSE TRUCKS - Apply to the inside of open trays and compactor units to ensure
subsequent ease of cleaning. Acts as a deterrent to flies and emulsfies grease
and slime as well as acting as a release agent.
REFUSE CANS, COLLECTION & DISPOSAL AREAS - Deodorises and cleans. No hot
water required. Apply and spray.
DRAINS - For clogged drains and open ditches dilute as necessary to overcome
odour and grease problems. If feeding stream or where marine and bird life are
present, no more than ten parts per million should be present.
GREASE TRAPS - To stop build-up on baffles and walls apply by brushing or spraying.
For odour control in kitchen and canteen traps a cull full once each day in
the sink furthest from the trap is usually sufficient.
MEAT PLANTS - Use in yards, drains, grease traps, offal containers etc. The
aromatic odour masking ingredient will be absorbed by meat, poultry, dairy produce,
etc. and ODASOL should NOT be used in areas where contact is likely.
